BIO 3410 Embryology

(formerly BIO 341; BIO 241; Embryology and Comparative Anatomy I)

An embryological study of Chordates from gametogenesis, fertilization, cleavage, gastrulation and neurulation in representative invertebrates, protochordates and vertebrates to a detailed study of mammalian embryogenesis, embryology and placentation. Stress is placed upon the morphological development of each organ system among the vertebrates. Two lecture hours and four lab hours per week.
