EDU 6901 Independent Study

During the course of their doctoral studies, students may elect to work directly with a faculty member on a reading, writing or research-related independent study. Contact faculty directly to arrange for independent studies. These courses are collaboratively custom-designed by the Ed.D. professor and the student. Professors will agree to meet with students regularly to evaluate the students’ work. Independent studies do not duplicate courses that exist as regular Ed.D. course offerings. The course of study must include a culminating project, paper, presentation or dissertation chapter(s), which communicates the key learning developed by the student. Pass/Fail.
