MUED 401 Secondary Instrumental Methods
This course addresses the role of instrumental music in public education, techniques of teaching instrumental music and the study of music from various cultures appropriate to students in instrumental ensembles, and the administration and organization of instrumental ensembles. The course includes observations and instruction experiences in public school music classes, formulation of age-appropriate lesson plans and peer teaching opportunities.
