BIOL 303 Introduction to Neuroscience

The goal of this course is to provide an introduction to how brain anatomy and neurophysiology control behavior. A survey of selected issues concerning both animal and human brain-behavior functions will be addressed. Topics include: organization of the nervous system; neurotransmission; sensation and perception; emotion; learning and memory; language and thought; and consciousness.
