NUR 529 Primary Care 3

The focus of the course is on primary care practice throughout the adult lifespan and is a continuation of Primary Care 1. Continued emphasis is on assessment, health promotion, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic adult and geriatric health issues. The student has an opportunity to apply the course concepts in clinical practice. 

Three hours per week theory, four hours per week clinical application (120 total hours)

Admission to the graduate nursing program or permission of nursing faculty and successfully completed NUR 501, NUR 502, NUR 504, NUR 527.
