Sports Communications Minor

Minor Requirements

The Department of Communication offers an interdisciplinary minor in sport communication providing students with the opportunity to explore sport as a business and apply effective communication skills to the many aspects of the sports industry. The minor combines the strengths of the Communication and Sport Business departments to prepare students for careers in a variety of sports-related areas. The minor is open to undergraduate students and compliments a major degree with a set of communication and business sports-related courses. The minor includes three required courses from Communication (9 credits) and two required courses from Sport Business (6 credits) for a total of 15 credits.
