NUR 428C Omega Strategies
Theories and strategies related to concepts of care at the end of life are presented. The emphasis is on the nurse as a member of an interdisciplinary team and the need for attention to the cultural factors influencing care at the end of life. There is currently a wide gap between the reality of end of life care, and the kind of care each would seek. This course is a guide to prepare nurses to be competent and compassionate professionals who can lead a transformation in care at the end of life.
