NUR 622 Quality Mgt Improve Health
The purpose of this course is to examine quality management strategies in complex healthcare systems to improve health outcomes. Major emphases of the course will focus on national initiatives and public policy for quality and patient safety/risk management, the six QSEN(Quality and Safety Education for Nursing)competencies, and implementation strategies for transition to practice including case management and utilization review.
