NS 402 Leadership & Ethics
The course integrates an intellectual explorationof Western moral traditions and ethicalphilosophy with a variety of topics, such asmilitary leadership, core values, andprofessional ethics; the UCMJ and Navyregulations; and discussions relating to theroles of enlisted members, junior and seniorofficers, command relationships, and the conductof warfare. The course provides midshipmen with afoundation of moral traditions, combined with adiscussion of actual current and historicalevents in the United States Navy and MarineCorps, to prepare them for the role andresponsibilities of leadership in the NavalService of the 21st century.
