NS 401 Leadership & Management
The course introduces the student to many of thefundamental concepts of leading Sailors andMarines, which shall be expanded upon during thecontinuum of leadership development throughoutNROTC; develops the elements of leadership vitalto the effectiveness of Navy/Marine Corpsofficers by reviewing the theories and parametersof leadership and management within and outsideof the Naval Service and progressing throughvalues development, interpersonal skills,management skills, and application theory.Practical applications are explored through theuse of experiential exercises, readings, casestudies, and laboratory discussions.
