NS 202 Naval Ships Systems II (Engineering)
Students learn detailed ship design, hydrodynamicforces, stability, propulsion, electrical theoryand distribution, hydraulic theory and shipcontrol, and damage control. The course includesbasic concepts of theory/design of steam, gasturbine, diesel, and nuclear propulsion. Casestudies on leadership/ethical issues in theengineering arena are also covered.
