MKG 500 Essentials of Marketing

This course introduces the concept of marketing,factors that influence marketing management, andthe role of marketing in society and business. Assuch, specific topics will include marketinganalysis, consumer behavior, segmenting, andtargeting, as well as marketing mix strategies -commonly referred to as the 4 P's (product,price, place, & promotion). Specific emphasiswill be placed on the strategic decision-makingand implementation of these principles.
