HUM 333 The Age of Revolution

A survey of significant works of literature,philosophy, music, and the visual arts from theseventeenth through the nineteenth centuries, setagainst the turbulent backdrop of scientific,industrial, and political revolutions. Typicallyincludes the examination of various Baroque arts,the Scientific Revolution, the Enlightenment,Neoclassicism, and Romanticism, with emphasis onEuropean figures and works.
