FIN 534 Optimizing Financial Performance
Examines the theory and practice of financialmanagement. It is assumed that all students havetaken the prerequisites, which provide a workingknowledge of time-value-of-money, financialanalysis, modern portfolio management, valuationof debt and equity securities, capital budgetinganalysis and cost of capital. Students gain anunderstanding of the principles and analyticaltechniques used by a financial manager, includingdecision-making responsibilities in the areas ofcapital budgeting, capital structure, dividendpolicy and working capital management.
