This module is designed for preservice teachercandidates to engage in learning Social Studiescontent through a variety of constructivistteaching strategies. Social Studies teachingmethods are intervowen with reading strategies andskills, classroom management techniques,technologies, and field-based experiences in orderto implement the effective teaching of socialstudies for a wide diversity of students,including English language learners (ELLs).
