DSIM 350 Project Operations Management
Prerequisite: MATH 112 or MATH 140. This course isintended to introduce the student to theactivities necessary to produce and deliver goodsand services in today's businesses.Project management will be emphasized as a majortechnique to plan, schedule and control importantprojects. Other concepts to be covered includedesign, total quality management/six sigma,inventory, facility layout, supply chainmanagement, capacity planning andreliability/maintenance. The ability to operateunder a variety of constraints is emphasized inthe course.
