Research Methods (Advanced Interdisciplinary Post Master Professional Certificate)
The Advanced Interdisciplinary Post Master Professional Certificate in Research Methods is aimed at professionals with a master's degree or equivalent professional degrees who wish to develop their research knowledge at an advanced level. The Certificate provides the necessary tools to develop new knowledge, to solve problems and to make complex decisions. It includes different aspects of qualitative and quantitative research, such as writing, research design, data collection and analysis using computerized programs. It promotes the application of various research methodologies in different disciplines, according to the merits, application and interest of the student. The Program requires the development and presentation of qualitative, quantitative or mixed research.

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, the student must:
- Hold a master's degree or equivalent professional degree with a minimum academic index of 3.00 from an accredited university.
- Possess a reasonable proficiency of Spanish and English.
- Present evidence of having passed a statistics course with a minimum grade of B or instead participate in the Statistics Workshops offered by the Graduate Center for Research and Student Success (CIEEG).
- Submit the admission documents to the Program:
- Admission request
- Transcript of original credits of bachelor’s and master's degree or equivalent professional degree.
- An essay on research interest
- Have three letters of recommendation sent by university professors or supervisors who can assess the student’s potential to succeed in the program.
Graduation Requirements
In order to meet the graduation requirements of the Interdisciplinary Professional Certificate Program in Research Methods, the student must:
- Be a regular student.
- Have completed the required courses of the study program as established in the Graduate Catalog.
- Have passed the courses with a minimum grade of B.
