The Professional Certificate in Mental Health Technician has the purpose of developing professionals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to help in mental health. A professional who complies with the responsibilities and functions established by law, who puts into practice the ethical principles that protect mental health patients, and who could maintain a safe environment and identify risky behaviors.
