The Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialty in Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DBA) aims to develop professionals with advanced, theoretical, and practical knowledge, for the creation and development of small and medium-sized businesses, innovative and sustainable products, and services at the local level. and international. Topics such as strategies for business creativity and innovation, global immersion, management of business success and failure, and leadership, among others, are discussed. The program emphasizes research applied to the search for innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities with the purpose of satisfying the needs and expectations of society in a globalized world. Admission requirements
In addition to meeting the requirements established in the "Academic Admission Requirements for Doctorate Programs" section of the Graduate Catalog, students interested in being admitted to the Doctorate in Business Administration program with a specialty in Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DBA), they must:

Possess a Master of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship (MBA), or its equivalent, from an accredited university, with an academic average of 3.25 or higher. If your master's degree is not in Entrepreneurship, you must pass the following courses, or their equivalents, with a minimum grade of B:

An essay in which you demonstrate your interest in the study of entrepreneurship, in accordance with the criteria established by the Admissions Committee.

Three (3) letters of recommendation from university professors or supervisors who can certify your potential to be successful in the Program.
and. Results of the Admission Exam for Postgraduate Studies (EXADEP) with a minimum score of 500 points. These results should not be more than 5 years old.

Interview with the Admissions Committee of the Doctoral Program and be favorably recommended by it.
Graduation requirements
The student must meet the following graduation requirements:

Pass all Program courses with a minimum grade of B.

Approve the defense of the Doctoral Project.
The candidate for the degree must pass a Doctoral Project, which will consist of developing an entrepreneurship project at a local or international level. In this, creativity and innovation must be applied in addition to developing a strategic plan for its implementation. The Doctoral Project Committee that will assist the students will be made up of three Faculty members. They will be authorized by the Program Director in common agreement with the student and in accordance with Institutional regulations.
The Doctoral Project will be defended by the student before the designated Committee. Once approved, the student will have met this requirement.
