HIST 5310 The United States Since 1945
An intensive study of the political, economic, and social forces that shaped the U.S. from World War II to the present. Special emphasiswill be placed on both domestic and foreign policy. Particular emphasis will be given to the concept of limited war as used in Korea and Vietnam. The consequences of the Civil RightsMovement, the New Frontier, the Great Society, and other political and economic movements from Nixon to the present are included.
