EDSA 6335 Higher Education Legal and Ethical Response
The students understand the types of legal areas that intersect on college campuses and develop an understanding of legal issues related to liability, contracts, hiring and firing, free speech, disabilities, discrimination, Title IX, and many other important topics necessary for effective college administrators. Students will analyze and evaluate the legal issues, ethical practices, constitutional provisions, court decisions and case law that impact higher education. Current legal issues affecting higher education will be embedded throughout the course.
