PA 6310 Physiology & Pathophysiology I

This course is the first course of a two semester sequence in which the student will build uponinformation learned in the basic physiology prerequisite courses. General review of physiologic concepts and systems will beundertaken. Class sessions will focus on an in-depth look at human physiology with an emphasis on cellular and subcellular mechanisms of normal and abnormal function including medical genetics. Introductory information will be provided as to clinical application of anatomic and physiologic variations from normal and the means by which these variations can contribute to disease.
