LDRD 656 Academic Governance in Higher Education
This course explores the various governance models in higher education including collective bargaining, faculty senates and other models. Emphasis will be placed on the various models of academic governance, their origins, and the advantages and challenges of each. Students will develop a governance plan that includes stakeholders in the process.Course Entry Requirements: Acceptance into the Ed.D. program and declaration of the higher education concentration.
