HSVC 380 Human Services Practice with Children and Adolescents
This skills-based course covers the necessary competencies, knowledge and best practices for working effectively with children and adolescents. The course explores theories of development and attachment; examines the impact of systems; identifies issues facing children and adolescents and; explores assessments and interventions for addressing the needs of this population. Students also learn about the roles and settings of human services professionals in working with children and adolescents.Course Entry Requirements:
