FRTY 2310 Introduction for Forest Surveying and Geographic Information Systems

An introductory course designed to show the students various ways of surveying tracts of land and identifying soil types. Methods include GPS, compass and pacing, methods of distance and acreage determination, and the operability of various soil types (1/3/4).
