Current concepts and technologies used with person computers and PLC’s in industrial (factory-floor) networks. Topics include PC networking hardware and software, PLC hardware and programming and PLC networking alternatives. This course will include a hands-on computer lab project in which students have opportunity to explore some of the important concept features of the Modbus SCADA protocol and view/analyze its operational features and limitations
