CS-408 MACHINE LEARNING
Fundamental concepts and applications that enable machines to learn by example. Supervised and unsupervised learning and preprocessing. Design, implementation, and evaluation of algorithms for classification, regression, and clustering. Model selection and evaluation, parameter optimization, and data presentation. Machine learning applications in finance, healthcare, and STEM fields. Prerequisites: CS 204, MAT 356, or permission from instructors.
