THE-667G HEALTH CARE POLICY
This course provides a critical overview of health policy, its development, implementation with emphasis on existing government programs and evolving changes. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the important health care policy issues of our times and how these policies drive the economics of the entire health care system in the United States. (This course builds on the students' knowledge of theories and concepts gained in HSA 510 Principles of Health Services Administration) Prerequisite: THE 552, 609, or 653
