BMS-558 APPLIED MICROBIOLOGY

This course presents the study of eucaryotic and procaryotic microorganisms and microbial forms, structure, function, physiology, metabolism, growth and genetics. Some applications of microbiology considered, including laboratory identification of human bacterial, iral, rickettsia, fungal, and parasitic pathogens; modes of transmission, treatment, and methods of control.
