NSG 530 Health Care Delivery, Policy, Law, and Ethics

This course provides an overview and framework for analyzing health policy issues. The structure of U.S. healthcare financing, reimbursement systems and healthcare delivery systems are explored. Historical perspectives, ethical, legal and political outcomes are analyzed. Comparing the U.S. healthcare system to the global healthcare arena is an essential part of the course. Prerequisite: None
