CMPR 2023 Documentary Filmmaking
Explores the principles and practices of non-fiction storytelling through film. Students will explore the ethical, aesthetic, and technical challenges of capturing real-life stories, learning how to research, plan, film, and edit compelling documentary projects. Emphasis is placed on story development, interviewing techniques, visual composition, and narrative structure. Students will work individually or in teams to produce short documentaries that reflect truth, perspective, and purpose.
