CMPR 1033 Video Production
Introduces students to the foundational principles and practical techniques of visual storytelling through digital video. Students will learn the full production process-from concept development and scriptwriting to shooting, lighting, sound recording, and editing. Emphasis is placed on composition, camera operation, shot sequencing, and post-production workflows using industry-standard software. Through hands-on projects and collaborative exercises, students will produce short narrative, documentary, and promotional video pieces tailored for web and social media platforms. The course balances technical training with creative expression, helping students become confident visual storytellers capable of producing polished, professional-grade content.
