ED 315 Special Education Virtual Field

The Special Education Virtual Field Experience course includes discussion board posts asking students to analyze and apply videos focusing on special education describing how they relate to their future classrooms and teaching philosophy. Students interact with one another through discussion board posts and learn from each other's personal experiences. The assignments require students to develop UDL lesson plans with a specific focus on working with students with special needs including accommodated assessments and utilizing technology to support student needs. The final assignment requires students to reflect on their lesson plans and teaching video analyzing their strengths and weaknesses and describing a plan for personal goals.
