Accessibility Services
Accessibility Services is committed to the process of removing barriers for students with disabilities to create access for them to all opportunities at RRCC. The college complies with and fully supports Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, with amendments of 1974, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Amendments Act of 2008.
The Accessibility Services staff collaborate with students with disabilities to determine appropriate accommodations and supports. Sign language interpreting, books in alternate format, testing accommodations, and assistive technology are some of the accommodations and supports provided.
The office is also a resource for campus visitors with disabilities. RRCC has an ADA Committee that focuses on ensuring the accessibility of the campus, programs and services.
