HIS 1120 American Civilization II

A survey of the political, social, economic and cultural developments that have influenced the growth of the United States from the Post Civil War period to the present. The course will provide a geographic overview and will analyze the institutions and ideas that shaped American Civilization, with emphasis on continuity, change and conflict in American society.
