HIS 1110 American Civilization I

A survey of the political, social, economic and cultural developments that have influenced the growth of the United States from the Colonial period to the Civil War. This course will analyze the impact of geography, institutions and ideas that shaped American Civilization, with emphasis on continuity, change and conflict in American society.
