SOC 3310 Race and Ethnic Relations

Writing-Intensive Course

This course examines the major social issues surrounding race and ethnic relations in America. Special emphasis is placed on the causes and consequences of prejudice and discrimination. Racism, broadly defined, is analyzed in both the historical and contemporary contexts. Future prospects are discussed.
