SOC 3700 African, Asian and Latino Experiences in American Society

(formerly SOC 370)

This course examines the experiences of the African, Asian, and Latino peoples in American society. Although there will be some discussion of socio-historical factors and realities, the primary focus will be on the modern era. History, culture, values, timing, discrimination, socio-economic realities and movements for social change and social justice all will be discussed.
