COM 3660 Broadcast Journalism

(formerly COM 366; Broadcast Journalism Production)

An introduction to different types of news broadcasts and the structure of the broadcast news program. Students write, produce, shoot, and edit news stories. The course also covers the history of broadcast, cable and streaming news as well as exploring contemporary electronic news gathering technologies and issues.
