BUS 3300 Entertainment Facility and Event Management

This course is designed to provide students with practical knowledge and skill competencies needed for facility and event management. Some of the topics covered will be: entertainment facility and venue trends, project management and event implementation, planning and designing theatre venues, sport facilities and entertainment facilities. An analysis of event operations, sustainability and risk management issues related to facility and event management will be covered. Case studies related to major stadiums and arena to local clubs, theme parks, cruise lines and fitness centers will be used to analyze facility functions.
