CRJ 5360 Policing the Police
(formerly CRJ 536)
This course will introduce the student to the study of how police organizations police within. It will examine different theories and rationale that have been offered for incidents of police misconduct, integrity lapses and illegal acts as well as focusing on the factors which will explore the history and application of social, cultural and institutional perspectives on the causation, continuance and response to different behaviors and responses within the law enforcement arena.
