STM 310 Networking & Security
Students study the layered network model, routing/switching fundamentals, socket programming basics, and core cybersecurity principles. Students configure and analyze networked applications and apply security controls to address common threats. Students also explore AI-enabled defense (e.g., anomaly detection) and AI-enabled attacks (e.g., deepfakes, prompt injection vectors) and their societal implications.
