ART 221 Intro to Painting: Acrylics
This course examines the fundamentals of painting as a language, utilizing a range of acrylic media, techniques and surfaces. Students will deepen their understanding of color while exploring various approaches to painting. Assignments will be based in observational and conceptual approaches, culminating in a self-directed final project. This course is designed to create a strong foundation for further painting study.
