Provide students the opportunity to develop and demonstrate competencies required for working with students with autism spectrum disorder or cognitive impairment or emotional impairment or specific learning disabilities. This course may be offered in an online format. Prerequisites: Autism Spectrum Disorder: CDO 550; SPE 530, 531, 532, 533. Cognitive Impairment: SPE 519, 521, 522. Emotional Impairment: SPE 578, 579, 581. Specific Learning Disabilities: SPE 577, 650, 675, 690.
