Library Services
The Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) Library actively supports your success as a student. At each campus, a dedicated liaison librarian is available to provide personalized guidance on finding, evaluating, and effectively using information. You can connect with librarians in person, by phone, via chat, or email during regular business hours. Outside of these hours, you'll find helpful general, database-specific, and subject-specific tutorials at the bottom of the library homepage. Faculty members are encouraged to schedule library instruction sessions with their campus librarian for their classes.
The CLTCC Library operates as an online library, primarily utilizing electronic resources to support the college's academic and technical programs. You can access these electronic resources through the CLTCC Library website. Computer labs at each campus provide students, staff, and faculty with access to all electronic resources. Conveniently, these resources, including ebooks, scholarly databases, and streaming media, are available 24/7 from any device with internet access.
For your studies and research, you are welcome to use the computer labs and printers located on each campus. Additionally, a photocopier/scanner is available for student use at every campus location.
As a member of LOUIS, the Louisiana Library Network, the CLTCC Library participates in a cooperative system that encourages resource sharing among Louisiana's libraries. Through the LOUIS Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement, CLTCC students, staff, and faculty can request books, journal articles, and other materials not held by CLTCC. To take advantage of this benefit, please contact the Director of Library Services to obtain a Reciprocal Borrowing Library Card.
The library's operating hours align with the college's academic calendar. Please remember that your LoLA username and password are required to access all library resources.
