FRTY 2610 Forest Mensuration Ii

This course is the second part of Forest Mensuration and is a continuation of collecting and processing of forest measurements; the sampling of forested tracts using plotless cruising (point sampling), strip cruising and plot cruising; and application of mathematical calculations to expand the sample data into an estimated population. The calculations are made utilizing calculators and computers. Stand tables are constructed based upon sample data collected. Written presentations of timber stand location and data are prepared. Prerequisite: FRTY 2520 (3/3/6)
