CLB-503 INTRO MEDICAL LAB SCIENCES
Introduction to Medical Laboratory Sciences presents a foundational overview of concepts, procedures, and clinical applications pertinent to the Medical Laboratory Scientist profession. Students will be introduced to basic laboratory techniques and important content areas related to lab safety, quality assessment, automation, and point of care testing. The course will introduce all six disciplines of the MLS profession-Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, Serology/Immunology, Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology.
