SPED 4310 Inclusion and Differentiated Instruction in Special Education

This course focuses on methods and strategies for differentiating instruction for exceptional learners so that they may be successfully included in general education classrooms. Emphasis is placed on adaptations/accommodations in instructional delivery, content, materials, activities, and assessment to ensure all learners are provided with appropriate supports. Collaboration, Response-to-Intervention (RTI), assistive technology, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and IEP meetings are also addressed.
