MECE 4332 Tribology

Tribology is the science and technology of interacting surfaces in relative motion. As such, this course will cover the areas of friction, wear and lubrication. Specific topics include: surface properties, contact between solid surfaces, adhesion, friction, wear of materials, and fluid film lubrication.
