Tuition and Fees

Within the Graduate School, the Division of Basic Science pays tuition and fees during the first year. In subsequent years, doctoral students’ tuition and fees are paid from research grants awarded to students’ dissertation mentors or from an institutional NIH training grant associated with the student’s research training, with the exception of students in the Clinical Psychology program.

All students pursuing a Ph.D. in Basic Sciences receive a nationally competitive research assistantship of $35,000 annually.
